So on Sunday my little family of birds were having our usual "movie day," when Haylei started yelling out... "Look it's snowing!!!!" I looked over to the window and sure enough it was! At first it was just melting as soon as it hit the ground... but lucky for us it got colder and started to stick! I couldn't pass up the chance to let the girlies feel what snow was like for the first time! So out the door they ran in there pajamas, rain boots and rain coats. Mama bird even went out to feel it for a second... (yes that is me in the sweats and vintage aerosmith tee in the second picture). After just a little bit outside we came in and drank hot chocolate next to the fire. What a great Sunday!
